Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for being passionate about providing quality service, exhibiting a relentless work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
My background includes experience in fashion design, management, buying and retail operations. I’m able to work effectively in multinational/multicultural environments and have a good working knowledge of marketplace needs and requirements.
Born and raised in Eastern Europe, I always wanted to be a fashion designer. I pursued my fashion dreams and came to Seattle, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in fashion design & merchandising from the International Academy of Design and Technology. After graduating, I began designing couture clothing for private clients and opened a bridal boutique, La Belle Reve. My glamorous, European-inspired gowns have been selected to show at Bellevue Collection as one of the finalists in Independent Designer Fashion Show, Los Angeles Metropolitan Fashion Week, and in many local fashion and runway events. I have been featured in multiple publications, including Seattle Times, 425 Magazine, Ville & Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom Magazines, and Bellevue Reporter.
Business
Because of my ability to think analytically as well as creatively, I succeed as a businesswoman and as a designer. I have owned two of my own businesses and constantly see the potential for growth. I consistently drive sales with my standout negotiating skills and by forging strong business relationships.
Design
After obtaining my degree in Visual Merchandising & Fashion Design, I went on to design a line of couture wedding gowns for my boutique La Belle Reeve and start my own plus-size fashion line, Poppy & Bloom. My aesthetic is uniquely influenced by my Eastern European roots, giving me an international edge in the American marketplace.
Passion
I continue to excel at what I do because I love working with people and exploring my own creativity. My passion has driven me not only down my career path but also to put on a large fashion-centric charity event to benefit local children with serious illnesses.
